"Faith Seeking Understanding"

(St Anslem)

Trinity Methodist seeks to be a safe place in which to explore our faith and develop our spirituality as disciples who follow the Jesus way.

At various times during the year we hold different ways in which to explore together:

  • Bible Studies

  • Studies Series on a key topic (for example, our stewardship of creation)

  • 'Trinity at the Movies' where we watch topical movies and discus aspects of the movie afterwards over soup and bread

Koinonia Groups:

Mattering, with Muffins – meets in the Wesley Lounge to have fellowship and conversation.

Sunday Lunch Bunch – meets after church down at Bay Coffee Hub café to continue fellowship and conversation.

Methodism has a tradition of grounding our theology in everyday life, and in the social justice issues of our day:

"The church is the community

formed by the Spirit of God manifest in Jesus,

missioned or sent to the world,

to be itself the tangible expression or sacrament

of how God relates to human existence

and of the purposes of God

for personal and collective freedom."
